Greece’s support for the Republic of Cyprus and its President Nicos Anastasiades is firm and timeless, the Greek President of the Republic, Prokopios Pavlopoulos, said on Wednesday during his meeting with Anastasiades.
Pavlopoulos underlined that the Cyprus problem is not a bilateral issue but a European and international issue and its solution must meet all the requirements of the European acquis. In this context, he reiterated his position on a federal state and stressed that no occupation troops and guarantors can be made acceptable.
