Farmer finds ancient statue without head in his field

A farmer working in his field on the outskirts of Dolichi, Ellassona stumbled upon the remains of an ancient statue that is missing its head.

The head of the Larissa Antiquities Ephorate Stavroula Sdrolia told the Athens-Macedonian News Agency that the ephorate will examine the statue, while the culture ministry has been informed about the find.
