Health Minister Vassilis Kikilias pledged on Thursday that the national health system will be supported although it is currently in a very difficult state.

Presenting the data collected by hospitals and regional health centres throughout the country, he said: “We will not leave the hospitals without help. The health system is tormenting the patients and the citizens. The vulnerable groups are our first priority.” The minister stressed the need for immediate interventions, saying these have been already launched.
