Online platform for primary residence protection system as of September 2
“As of Monday, September 2, the primary residence protection framework will only work electronically, without citizens having to submit any documents to the banks,” Development and Investment Minister, Adonis Georgiadis, said on Saturday in an interview with Skai TV.
Georgiadis also said that he has signed a relevant joint ministerial decision with Finance Minister Christos Staikouras, which was published in the Government Gazette on Friday.
Moreover, he has spoken with bank representatives, who promised to have a trained employee in each branch to help the citizens apply on the online platform. He notified that one out of the four systemic banks is ready to provide this service as of Monday while the rest will follow.
