Body of female discovered in cave in rugged area of Hania prefecture

The body of a female was discovered in a cave on Tuesday in the Xamoudochori site in a rugged portion of Hania prefecture (Platania municipality) on Crete, with authorities attempting to confirm if the woman is a missing US national.

The American biologist has gone missing since July 2.
