Possible snow in Athens on Wednesday, according to weather warning bulletin issued

The Hellenic National Meteorological Service (HNMS) issued a weather warning bulletin on Monday, forecasting severe storms with snowfall, low temperatures and strong winds starting on Wednesday.

The bulletin predicts snowfall even in the north suburbs of Athens on Wednesday afternoon.

The temperature is expected to drop by almost ten degrees compared to Monday, while stormy winds are forecast for the seas.

The weather will temporarily improvement on Friday, but a further deterioration is expected over the weekend, especially in eastern Greece.
