New cold spell forecast in Greece

Heavy snow will continue in Epirus, western and central Macedonia, Thessaly and the islands of the northeastern Aegean on Tuesday morning, reaching Evia, Central Greece, parts of Attica, the Peloponnese and Crete by Tuesday afternoon. Snow is also forecast to affect the Aegean islands and Crete until Wednesday afternoon.

Gale- and near-gale-force winds of 9-10 Beaufort when they reach eastern parts of the country on Tuesday before subsiding on Wednesday. Frost, at times deep, is forecast from Monday night until Wednesday, especially in northern parts of the country.
