Former ND leader, minister Meimarakis to lead party’s MEP ticket in next year’s elex

Former main opposition New Democracy (ND) leader Vangelis Meimarakis will be lead the center-right party’s election slate in next year’s European Parliament elections, sources close to the party said on Wednesday.

Meimarakis, a long-time ND deputy and minister, met on Tuesday with ND president Kyriakos Mitsotakis, where the decision was reportedly taken.
