Building in Athens on fire

An empty building has caught fire in downtown Athens on Praxiteles Street. The fire broke out shortly after 7.30 am.

Five fire engines and 15 firefighters immediately rushed to the scene to contain the flames in the two-story abandoned building.

According to the Fire Brigade, there is no information about any persons inside the building, and there is no risk to adjacent buildings.
