Baby’s body discovered at Larissa recycling plant
A dead infant was found among recyclable materials at a garbage sorting center in Larissa, central Greece, on Monday.
According to local reports the baby – just a few weeks old – was discovered by an employee at the sorting plant.
The infant was transferred to a morgue, where an autopsy will be conducted on Tuesday.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident which has shocked the local community and the country at large.
