Fire at migrant camp near Thessaloniki leaves one man injured

A fire that broke out at a converted factory housing migrants in Diavata, near Thessaloniki, early on Friday, left a man with minor injuries.

The fire broke out shortly after 2 a.m. in one of the prefabricated buildings on the site, prompting the local fire service to intervene and douse the blaze before it could spread to tents and other infrastructure.

The cause of the blaze remained unclear.
