Boy killed in traffic accident between Larissa and Karditsa

An 11-year-old boy was killed in a car accident on the highway connecting Larissa and Karditsa in central Greece on Friday.

The accident occurred at the Itea junction when a car driven by a 35-year-old man collided with a car driven by a 35-year-old woman in which the child was a passenger.

Karditsa traffic police are investigating the cause of the accident.
