Traffic police closed off a section of the national highway between Larissa and Volos in central Greece on Monday after a truck carrying propane overturned at the junction leading to the village of Niki.

A contingent of the regional fire service was dispatched to the scene and covered the road surface with a special cooling foam as propane can be flammable.
