ELSTAT figures show economic recovery in third quarter
The Greek statistics authority ELSTAT has published the provisional data on the gross domestic product for the third semester of 2016.
The latest data shows that the GDP increased by 1.8% on an annual basis and a 0.8% on a quarterly basis.
As such, the economy appears to have grown by 0.1% in the first nine months of the year. Based on the budget for the entire year, the goal was a 0.3% decline in the economy.
