Israeli President Rivlin thanks Greek counterpart for help in wildfires
Israeli president Reuven Rivlin expressed his country’s sincere gratitude to Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos, during a phone contact Monday, for Greece’s immediate response and contribution to Israel’s battle against the recent wildfires that plagued the country.
The president of Israel praised the Greek pilots and firefighters for their high level of professionalism, while he accepted the invitation extended to him by Mr. Pavlopoulos for an official visit to Greece.
