Turnover for vehicle sector in 2016 continues to improve over 2015
Turnover in Greece’s retail car sales sector increased by 18.6 percent in Q3 2016 on an annualized basis, the Greek statistical bureau (EL.STAT) announced on Tuesday.
Although positive on a yearly basis, the third quarter dropped 24.7 percent from the previous quarter, Q2 2016, which witnessed a significant rise in sales of cars, motorcycles and other vehicles.
On a seasonally adjusted basis, the turnover in the wholesale-retail sector increased by 2.4 percent, and 1.7 percent in terms of sales of vehicles.
