A series of meetings between Greek government officials and representatives of the institutions are scheduled for Monday, as part of the second bailout review negotiations.

The main issues on Monday’s agenda are the out-of-court settlements for non-performing loans, deregulation of the energy market, privatizations and tax administration. The institutions representatives are scheduled to leave Athens on Tuesday, with the government aiming to reach a deal by the 5 December Eurogroup.

In Sunday’s meetings with Labor Minister Efi Achtsioglou no agreement appears to have been reached. Mrs. Achtsioglou told journalists that “we carry on” as she left the four-hour meeting. The IMF is reportedly pressuring for a full deregulation of collective dismissals.

Meanwhile, a Finance Minister officer commented that technical talks on the financial gaps and education issues are still on the table. Regarding the gap, there appears to a be a difference of opinion on a 50-million-euro gap in 201, while the institutions insist there will be a 600 million euro gap in 2018.
