Athens and Piraeus doctors go on 4-hour strike Thursday
The Union of Doctors’s of Athens and Piraeus in the public hospitals have declared a 4-hour work stoppage from 11am till 3pm, Thursday. The doctors demand the extension of the tenure of auxiliary doctors in the national health system (ESY). The union also decided to participate in the national 24-hour strike declared by Civil Servants’s Confederation (ADEDY) for November 24.
