Four tons of garbage found in Thessaloniki apartment

Six individuals have been arrested after about four tons of garbage was found in their semi basement apartment in the area of Toumpa in Thessaloniki.
The arrests came after complaints were filed at the local police department for the possibility of a major source of pollution. Upon inspection with a judicial officer and municipal sanitation employees, the police determined that there were serious hygiene problems both inside and surrounding the apartment.
As such, the police arrest the six apartment residents, all of whom are Albanian national aged 19 to 60 years old.
