Greece fined 10mln Euros over EU waste law

The European Court decided that the Greek state will have to pay a 10 million Euro fine for violating a 2009 ruling regarding the country’s refusal to comply with EU waste directives. According to the ruling, the Greek state has to pay a 30,000 Euro fine each day it delays in adopting the EU directive on waste.
