Police said several individuals were detained following separate raids at the now-defunct Megas Alexandros orphanage in the Ano Toumba neighborhood, the Mandalideio mansion on the coastal Nikis Avenue, and an eight-story building in downtown Thessaloniki.
Two of the buildings were said to be state property.
