Victim of central Athens shooting dies
A man in his mid-30s who was gunned down while riding a motorcycle in the central Athens district of Exarchia has died, as one of several shots fired against him hit him in the head, Skai reported.
The man has reportedly been identified as being a Syrian national, though no further details regarding his identity have been released.
He was shot at least six times from a motorcycle carrying two men with their faces covered. The incident occurred at around 11.30 a.m. on Tuesday morning on Themistokelous Street. The assailants managed to get away by speeding off into the traffic.
