New Democracy MPs leave the plenary session
The clash between the government and the opposition parties has been transferred to the parliament where the issue of the offshore companies amendment is being discussed.
Despite the efforts of the government to correct its first amendment by legislating a new one, the opposition parties continue accusing the government of attempting to provide immunity to politicians who own offshore companies.
“The owner of an offshore company has already achieved indemnity” stressed the parliamentary spokesman of New Democracy, Nikos Dendias, before announcing that ND leaves the plenary session.
