Syrian refugee injured after altercation at Polykastro camp
The police reported that a Syrian refugee as taken to the hospital in Kilkis due to injuries he suffered during an altercation at the makeshift camp at Polykastro.
According to the police report the victim appears to have been assaulted with a knife by five other refugees, possibly of Kurdish descent.
The victim reported that the fight broke out when the assailants insulted his wife. His injuries are not life threatening and the police has launched an investigation.
