Police seek suspect for two assaults on women in northern Athens suburb

Police in the northern Athenian suburb of Halandri on Tuesday were looking for a man who allegedly attempted to assault two women a day earlier.

According to police, two women came forward and said they were assaulted by an overweight man wearing thick prescription glasses on Monday morning, at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. respectively, on the corner of Kapodistriou and Vassileos Georgiou streets. Both the women said they reacted to the attack and frightened off their assailant.
