Children being forced into prostitution at migrant reception center, mayor claims
Children are being forced into prostitution at the reception center for migrants and refugees at the site of the capital’s old international airport in Elliniko, south of Athens, the mayor of Alimos, Andreas Kondylis, has alleged.
In comments to Skai, Kondylis said there have been complaints that certain members of the camp have been forcing minors to prostitute themselves.
He added that the police presence at the center, which accommodates some 6,000 migrants and refugees, is inadequate.
