The body of a 20-year-old man found in brush land on Mount Penteli, north of the Greek capital, on Saturday showed evidence of foul play, an Athens coroner said on Tuesday.

The young man, who had been reported missing by his parents in the northern suburb of Glyka Nera on May 10, was shot three times with a hunting rifle, in the head, chest and abdominal area, the coroner announced.

A police investigation is under way into the incident.
