Party’s human rights division against SYRIZA government
Leftist factions within the ruling SYRIZA party have released a statement denouncing the SYRIZA-controlled Ministry for Citizen Protection after it deemed the arrest of members of a leftist student solidarity group named ‘Left Unity’ was unjustified and unreasonable!
The party’s division on human rights issued a statement calling for the ‘democratisation’ of the police force and decrying the use of ‘excessive police force’.
Student-members of ‘Left Unity’, one of the various leftist factions within SYRIZA, were arrested Tuesday after protesting against the closed borders in front of the building of the Ministry for Citizen Protection.
SYRIZA members and its affiliated extreme leftist groups have been involved in all sorts of activities with solidarity groups and dubious NGOs, exploiting large funds.
