The Athens-based ICAP business survey group on Friday released a report showing that the Greek economy in 2014 and during the first half of 2015 posted positive results, the first such upward economic trend since a punishing recession beset the country, beginning essentially in 2008.

According to ICAP, the trend was reversed in the second half of 2015, with GDP again marginally falling, yoy.

The annual survey, “Greece in Numbers,” also detailed figures for 12 economic sectors, based on yearly corporate results of nearly 23,000 Greek businesses over the 2013-2014 periods.
