Restoration of Manos Hatzidakis home in Xanthe complete

The restoration efforts on the home where Manos Hatzidakis was born and raised in Xanthe have concluded, under the supervision of the district authorities of Eastern Macedonia-Thrace.

According to the official statement, the restoration was carried out with the support and assistance of the great artist’s relatives and friends, with respect to his life and works.

The newly-restored house will act as a cultural center, with day conferences, meetings, readings, presentations and other artistic performances being scheduled for later in the year.

An exhibition of publications, photographs and other articles from the life and works of Manos Hatzidakis will also be housed on-site.
