Gerovasili to conduct two-day visit to Russia
Olga Gerovasili, Greece’s deputy minister to the prime minister, is expected to begin a two-day visit to Moscow on Monday within the framework of “Year of Greece in Russia,” a cross-cultural series of exchanges between the two countries taking place through 2016.
The deputy minister’s agenda today includes the inauguration of a photographic exhibition dedicated to the monastic state of Mount Athos at the State Duma.
On Tuesday, Gerovasili – also the government spokeswoman – is expected to address an international conference on Greek and European culture organized by the Department of Byzantine and Modern Greek Philology at the Lomonosov Moscow State University.
During her visit Gerovasili will also meet with representatives of Russia’s Greek diaspora.
