Emergency Euro Working Group teleconference
The progress of negotiations and the distance between the Greek government and its creditors will be on the agenda of an emergency Euro Working Group teleconference, scheduled for Friday.
Sources indicate the Alternate Minister of Finance Giorgos Houliarakis, the European Commission’s Declan Costello, the European Central Bank’s Rasmus Refer, the European Stability Mechanism’s Nicola Giammarioli and the International Monetary Fund’s Delia Velculescu will update the EWG on progress that has been achieved so far.
The goal is to determine and finalize the unresolved issues, in an effort to close the gaps prior to the institutions returning to Athens on Saturday.
