Koumoutsakos: Mitsotakis’ call for elections was an act of duty
New Democracy spokesperson Giorgos Koumoutsakos claimed that the call for elections by party leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Tuesday in Parliament was an “act of duty” and “political responsibility”.
In an interview on SKAI Mr. Koumoutsakos argued that his party cannot force elections on another party clinged to power, but rather the government must resign over the “dramatic collapse” of the country it has caused.
Mr. Koumoutsakos repeated the claim of his party leader that the government is unable to govern Greece and accused the Prime Minister of “unnecessarily leading the country to four elections” within 15 months.
