Shipping Minister dismisses rumors of transporting refugees to Volos
The Minister of Shipping and Island Policy Theodoros Dritsas has dismissed media reports that refugees will be transported from the port of Piraeus to Volos.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the Minister explains that no such decision has been made and that any development will come after talks between local authorities and implicated ministries.
Furthermore, the Minister stressed that his aim is to provide humane and function solutions, which will not burden local communities.
