Bulgaria sends humanitarian aid to Greece
Bulgaria on Sunday sent some 5,000 blankets, 155 tents, 500 mattresses and 150 beds, as well as pillows, bed linen and other essential items to Greece to help its Balkan neighbor cope with a burgeoning migrant crisis.
The Bulgarian Ministry of Agriculture and Food also donated a truckload of firewood for thousands of refugees and migrants trapped in Greece after the border closure by its northern neighbor, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.
The aid was distributed at the refugee reception center of Nea Kavala in northern Greece.
