Refugee gives birth to son in Greek air force helicopter on way to Rhodes

A refugee gave birth to a child while being transported by an air force helicopter from the island of Kastelorizo to Rhodes on Thursday, according to reports.

The helicopter arrived on Kastelorizo with a doctor on board. She helped deliver the baby in flight. The mother and child were taken to the hospital in Rhodes and are said to be in good health.
