Theodorakis re-elected as leader of To Potami
Stavros Theodorakis was reelected the leader of centrist party To Potami on Sunday.
The former journalist received 88 percent of the votes cast at the end of the party’s three-day congress despite Potami performing poorly in recent polls.
A University of Macedonia survey published on Friday showed the centrist grouping on less than 3 percent, which is the threshold for entering Parliament.
Theodorakis saw off a last-minute challenge from Oxford University law professor Pavlos Eleftheriadis.
