One publisher and two reporters arrested for blackmail
The police arrested one publisher and two reporters for blackmailing public organizations, companies and banks following a complaint submitted by a director of a public organization who had been blackmailed.
The arrests took place in the framework of an extensive police operation on dismantling a criminal organization that had been blackmailing public organizations and companies, institutes and banks.
The persons arrested are Panayiotis Mavrikos, publisher of the newspaper “Acropolis” and reporters Panagiotis Mousas and Christos Fragou.
