Justice Minister orders investigation into Hellenic Gold delays
The Minister of Justice Nikos Paraskevopoulos has ordered an investigation into the major delays in relation to series of complaints filed against the “Hellenic Gold” firm from 2013.
Mr. Paraskevopoulos, who made the announcement in Parliament in response to a question posed by SYRIZA MP Katerina Iglezi, noted that the complaints filed by local residents over violations of the environmental law from September 2013 have not yet been investigated.
“I cannot find a clear explanation. I have requested a preliminary disciplinary examination” argued the Minister of Justice in Parliament.
