Ferries to operate as normal on weekend
Passenger ferries will be running as normal Saturday and Sunday after the seamen’s union (PNO) called off a strike it had planned to protest the government’s proposed pension reforms.
PNO said it was suspending the strike that it had called for this weekend and called on the government to scrap its scheme.
The union pledged to step up action again if the pension reforms, which are still being discussed with Greece’s lenders, are tabled in Parliament.
