60% of Greek employees earn less than 1,000 euros
During the period of 2014-2015 the low-paid employees in Greece rose by 80,410 people, according to staff statements submitted by the enterprises at Hellenic Labour Inspectorate.
As a result, 63.17% of the Greek employees in private sector earn less than 1,000 euros.
According to the data, in 2015 the number of registered employees rose by 5.79% or by 88, 666 people, but most of the newly hired people are low-paid.
