Αthens Stock Exchange opening: Rise
Equity prices were rising on Monday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index up 0.49 percent, standing at 555.27 points at 11.10 am and turnover at 5.75 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 0.65 percent and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was down 0.07 percent.
Individual sector indices were moving mostly upwards with the biggest gains in Food and Beverages (+2.47 percent) and Raw Materials (+1.70 percent).
The heaviest losses were in Travel and Recreation (-0.76 percent) and Telecoms (-0.38 percent).
Of the stocks traded, 23 were up, 16 were down and 11 were unchanged.
