Athens Stock Exchange opening: Marginal rise
Equity prices were slightly rising on Friday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index up 0.7 percent, standing at 542.56 points at 11.05 am and turnover at 5.97 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 0.31 percent and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was down 0.71 percent.
Individual sector indices were moving mostly upwards with the biggest gains in Health (+7.76 percent) and in Banks (+1.56 percent).
The heaviest losses were in Telecoms (-1.67 percent) and in Construction (-1.12 percent).
Of the stocks traded, 27 were up, 14 were down and 11 were unchanged.
