Athens Stock Exchange opening: Consolidation
Equity prices were recovering on Thursday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index up 0.13 percent, standing at 527.12 points at 11.05 am and turnover at 8.90 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 0.29 percent and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index up 1.10 percent.
Individual sector indices were moving mostly upwards, with the biggest gains in Raw Materials (+2.40 percent), and in Industrial Products (+2.13 percent).
The heaviest losses were in Banks (-0.88 percent) and in Constructions (-0.69).
Of the stocks traded, 28 were up, 14 were down and 10 were unchanged.
