ND leader says the government is punishing those who work
Main opposition leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis criticized the government for crushing the self-employed those who have just entered the workforce and the pensioners with its policies, after a meeting with the president of the Athens Bar Association Vasilis Alexandris on Friday.
Alexandris discussed with Mitsotakis the contested proposal to increase social security contributions.
“In other words, the government is punishing the work of the people the Greek economy so desperately needs to restart. Every day that goes by, it is made more obvious that the SYRIZA-ANEL coalition is seriously hurting Greece,” he said.
