Most Thessaloniki arrests in December involved migrants
Police in Thessaloniki said they made 1,749 arrests in December and seized 32,187 euros that was linked to alleged illegal activity.
A total of 1,081 of those arrests involved migrants who did not have proper documentation.
Police in the northern port city said they solved two murders last month, as well as six cases of fraud, 13 robberies and 157 break-ins.
They seized a kilo of heroin and almost half a kilo of cocaine in the process.
