For the first time we will have one speed pensioners, Labour Min Katrougalos says

“For the first time we will have one speed pensioners,” Labour Minister George Katrougalos on Friday said in a press conference on social security reforms.

He added that the memorandum along with the peculiarities of the system and the PSI are the three main reasons why social security reforms are required.

He referred to wrong information on the proposed reforms and ensured that certain categories of people such as freelancers will be protected.

He also said that he will meet with Alternate Finance Tryfon Alexiadis to discuss the issue of linking the social security system with the tax system.

Regarding the contacts in the EU, he said that the social security issue is a national issue, but also a European one.
