Athens Stock Exchange opening: Decline
Equity prices were dropping on Tuesday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index down 0.35 percent, standing at 618.97 points at 11.00 am and turnover at 6.18 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 0.26 percent and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was down 0.79 percent.
On individual sector indices, the biggest gains were in Financial Services (+1.73 percent) and in Constructions (+0.68 percent).
The heaviest losses were in Commerce (-1.67 percent) and in Raw Materials (-1.41 percent).
Of the stocks traded, 10 were up, 23 were down and 17 were unchanged.
