Ten persons were arrested on the island Rhodes and charged with human trafficking, as well as forcing children to beg and exposing them to danger.

During a police sweep on Rhodes, 25 persons were detained and 10 – one man and nine women aged 18 to 66 – were arrested.

The investigation revealed that the accused were exploiting minors, forcing them to beg and then taking the money.
