No debate, after political parties fail to agree on conditions
Greek political leaders will not be facing in a televised debate after the parties’ representatives failed to reach an agreement on the conditions of the debate.
According to sources, SYRIZA re-tabled its proposal for the debate to be held on July 1, to which New Democracy agreed. However, the smaller parties did not agree, leading to the collapse on the talks.
